Premium Gate Fabrication

At Kerala Automations, gate manufacturing is where our journey began. Our fabrication workshop produces heavy-duty residential and commercial gates from the finest materials — wrought iron, mild steel, stainless steel (SS 304 and SS 316 for coastal properties), and aluminium alloy. Every gate is custom-designed to match your property's architectural language, whether it's a contemporary minimalist villa or a traditional Kerala-style home.

Gate Types We Manufacture

  • Swing Gates: Single and double leaf designs. Teak-infill, glass-panel, and full-steel variants available in spans from 3 to 10 metres.
  • Sliding Gates: Track-mounted and cantilever designs for properties where swing clearance is limited. We fabricate in mild steel with hot-dip galvanization for corrosion resistance.
  • Telescopic Gates: Multi-panel sliding gates that stack behind each other — ideal for ultra-wide commercial entrances where a single sliding panel would be too long.
  • Boom Barriers: Aluminium arm barriers with reflective striping for apartment complexes, toll plazas, and commercial parking entries.

Why Our Gates Last Longer

Kerala's climate is unforgiving on metal structures. Monsoon rains, coastal salt spray, and extreme humidity accelerate corrosion dramatically. Our manufacturing process addresses this head-on:

  • Hot-Dip Galvanization: Every steel component is dipped in molten zinc at 450°C, creating a metallurgical bond that prevents rust for 20+ years.
  • PU Paint Finish: Multi-coat polyurethane paint system applied over zinc primer for both protection and premium aesthetics.
  • SS316 for Coastal: Properties within 5 km of the coastline receive marine-grade stainless steel hardware and hinges.

We integrate automation-ready design into every gate we build. Welding points for motor brackets, conduit channels for wiring, and rack slots for sliding mechanisms are pre-engineered into the gate structure — so when you're ready for gate automation, the retrofit is seamless.

Manufacturing Standards

  • IS 2062 grade structural steel
  • MIG/TIG welding by certified fabricators
  • Automation-ready bracket points pre-welded
  • Anti-corrosion zinc + PU coating system

Custom Design Process

Share your architect's elevation drawing or a reference photo. Our design team creates a scaled CAD rendering for your approval before any cutting begins. Modifications are free at the design stage.

Typical lead time: 2–3 weeks from design approval to installation.

From Design to Delivery

1

Site Measurement

Precision measurement of pillar-to-pillar span, ground level, and track alignment.

2

Design Approval

CAD rendering shared for client review. Material and finish selection finalized.

3

Fabrication

Cutting, welding, grinding, galvanizing, and painting in our controlled workshop.

4

Installation

On-site fitting, hinge alignment, track laying, and automation prep.

Frequently Asked Questions

Mild steel (IS 2062), wrought iron, stainless steel (SS 304 / SS 316 for coastal), and aluminium alloy depending on application and budget.

Yes. Share a reference image and our CAD team will create a detailed manufacturing drawing tailored to your exact pillar dimensions.

Standard gates: 2–3 weeks from design approval. Complex ornamental or telescopic gates may take 4–5 weeks.

Our hot-dip galvanization + PU paint system provides 20+ years of corrosion protection. For coastal areas, we use SS316 grade hardware.

Absolutely. We pre-weld motor mounting brackets and conduit channels into every gate, making future automation retrofits seamless.
