Column-Free Wide Spans for Industrial & Commercial Spaces
Conventional industrial roofing relies on heavy steel trusses — complex triangulated webs of steel beams supported by numerous internal columns. While foundational to older engineering, these pillars obstruct floor space and limit operational flexibility in warehouses and factories.
Truss-less Roofing (self-supported arch roofing) eliminates internal structural support entirely. By rolling and seaming specialized galvanized or galvalume steel coils into deep-corrugated arch profiles, the roof itself becomes load-bearing. This engineering allows massive clear spans from 20 metres up to 60 metres without a single central pillar.
We predominantly use high-tensile Galvalume steel (coated with aluminium and zinc) which provides superior corrosion resistance — critical for Kerala's saline coastal atmosphere. The steel coils are roll-formed on-site using mobile forming machines, then mechanically seamed together into continuous arch spans.
This mechanical seaming is key: there are zero nuts or bolts piercing the roof surface, meaning zero potential leak points. For Kerala's torrential monsoons, this leak-proof construction is not a feature — it is a necessity.
Wind Resistance: Aerodynamic arch profile deflects winds up to 160 km/h, preventing lift-off that destroys flat roofs.
Monsoon Proof: Zero bolt holes = zero leak points. Mechanically seamed joints handle Kerala's heaviest rainfall.
Rapid Build: Up to 1,000 sq.m/day installation speed slashes labour costs — a major factor in Kerala's high-wage construction market.
| Feature | Truss-less Arch Roof | Conventional Truss Roof |
|---|---|---|
| Internal Columns | Zero (100% space) | Required for wide spans |
| Leakage Risk | Very Low (no bolt holes) | High (thousands of drill holes) |
| Install Speed | Very Fast (up to 1000 sq.m/day) | Slow (heavy lifting & welding) |
| Bird Nuisance | Zero perching points | High (trusses attract nesting) |
| Foundation Cost | Lower (lighter structure) | Higher (heavier loads) |

Depending on the sheet gauge and profile curve, we engineer clear spans up to 35–40 metres natively, and higher for specialized applications.
Yes! We interlock polycarbonate translucent sheets into the arches to allow natural daylight, significantly cutting factory electricity bills.

Turbo ventilators are easily integrated into the crown of the arch to extract hot air and maintain circulation inside the building.
Absolutely. The mechanically seamed joints eliminate bolt holes entirely, making this the most waterproof roofing technology available — ideal for Kerala's monsoons.
We supply fire-rated cladding materials and work with local municipal fire officers to ensure full compliance for commercial occupancy permits.
